ESA is still working for the depositors!
Update: March, 21st 2020

As a responsible partner, ESA complies with the recommendations of the Austrian Federal Government and contributes to the containment of the coronavirus by minimising social contacts.

To this end, we have completely switched our operations to home office and also closed our service point in the premises of Anglo Austrian AAB. The compensation process in connection with the insolvency of AAB is being continued in all aspects by our staff. Please understand that due to operational restrictions at our service partners, in individual cases there may be somewhat longer waiting times.

Your deposits are of course still guaranteed.

AAB customers can continue to have unrestricted access to our payout website to provide information on the new account details. In any case, the payout of compensation will executed regularly.

Deposit protection

We compensate deposits up to € 100,000 per eligible person and per bank in case one of our member instititutions fails.

Investor compensation

If securities deposited with the failed bank by an investor are no longer available in a payout case, this loss will be covered for up to € 20,000 at the request of the investor following verification of the investor's identity within three months from the point at which the amount and entitlement to the claim was determined.
